We depart between 7:45 am and 8:00 am, meeting at the Reserv. Cusco Srl. office. Our journey begins with a panoramic view of the city as we leave Cusco, before continuing on to Chinchero/Ollantaytambo.
After having a vitamin-rich breakfast - based on bananas, oranges, papayas, and other regional fruits (juices) - we will set out early on a trek in search of an unforgettable adventure.
We will walk along trails full of vegetation, where we can appreciate the cultivation and harvesting of coffee as well as the sacred plant of the Inca, the COCA.
Here we get up a little later and have breakfast also based on vitamins (juices).
And at about 9:45 am we started walking in search of the hanging bridges as well as crossing the Vilcanota River (Sacred River of the Incas) through a cable car.
We woke up early to visit Machu Picchu, the first wonder of the modern world. We set off on our trek at 5:10 am to have the opportunity to see the sunrise.
The hike ascends from 1980 meters to 2450 meters above sea level. We had breakfast along the way because we brought a boxed breakfast. The hike takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
